CHAFFEE, MO (KFVS) -

First grader Ross Jenkins is like most any kid his age. He's a whiz at the iPad, and his parents let him use it as a reward for good behavior.

However, when he and his buddies try to watch his favorite videos, they sometimes have trouble hearing, especially while riding in the car.

"We try to put on full blast and we can hardly hear it."

"The speakers facing mommy and daddy, we can hear fine, but we're the ones who can hardly hear at all in the back seat," said Ross.

iMainGo could fix that. Simply slide your iPad into the iMainGo case. Plug in the jacks, and turn up the sound.

Whoa! That's a big difference. So much so, we even turn it down some.

By the way, these speakers run on their own battery, so it doesn't take away from your iPad's charge.

Also, the manufacturer, Portable Sound Labs, offers a stand or you can take it out and put it on your lap. It's similar to holding a small laptop.

"It's good," said Ross.

Meantime, Ross's mom, Cheryl, sees this fitting into their "on-the-go" lifestyle even with the $100 price tag.

"I would give it an 'A.'"
