Voters approve Jackson School Bond issue

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) - Voters in Jackson have said yes to a $16 million bond issue that would build a new elementary school.

The school bond passed by 70 percent with 2,536 'yes' votes and 1,084 'no' votes.

The vote gives the district the authority to issues $16 million in new bonds for a new elementary school on Lacey Street and it's a no tax rate increase.
