CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) -

Will the warm weather be a blessing or a curse for Charleston? The Dogwood and Azalea Festival doesn't happen for another two and a half weeks.

It's set for April 19-22, but the famous flowers are already in full bloom.

Many homeowners and business owners are worried the show will be over too soon, but chamber directors say there will still be plenty to see in Charleston on April 19.

"We wish mother nature had waited but festival time is always magical no matter if it's no bloom or not the people of Charleston always do a great job there will be flowers in bloom maybe not the dogwoods and azaleas but we'll make it," said Karen Teeters, Chamber of Commerce executive director.
