Sheriff: Woman kicks out rear window of squad car

FRANKLIN COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - Franklin County Sheriff's deputies arrested a Benton woman Monday morning for driving with a suspended license and the sheriff says she kicked out the rear window of a deputy's squad car.

Ashley Hensgen, 26, of Benton was pulled over at 5:36 a.m. Monday and cited for driving with a suspended license.

She is also charged with criminal damage to state supported property, obstructing a peace officer, resisting a peace officer, and aggravated battery on a peace officer.

Franklin County Sheriff Don Jones says Hensgen kicked out a rear window of the squad car of the Franklin County Sheriff's deputy who pulled her over.
