Ky. probation & parole officer faces misconduct charge

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - State Police say a Marshall County probation and parole officer is facing misconduct charges.

According to KSP, an investigation showed alleged improper contact with a female who is currently under the supervision of probation and parole officers.

A detective with KSP testified before a Marshall County Grand Jury on Thursday, March 8.

The Grand Jury returned an indictment on Lance Warmath, 29,  for official misconduct 1st degree, a misdemeanor, according to KSP.

On Friday, detectives say a summons was served on Warmath ordering him to appear before the Marshall County District Court on March 21.

The investigation is ongoing by detectives with the Kentucky State Police.
