Ridgway making progress on clean up efforts

RIDGWAY, IL (KFVS) - Ridgway Mayor Becky Mitchell, tells Heartland News that they have got everything cleaned up that they need to get done by volunteers.

She says there are some smaller projects that local volunteers will be working on this week. But she says they do not need anymore outside volunteers at this time.

The mayor did say that they will be doing a lot of paperwork this week to get things in order for their filings of disaster with the state and federal agencies.

She Heartland News that the service this afternoon at St Joseph's old gymnasium is being called a "Thanksgiving Service" that they are thankful they had no loss of lives in Ridgway.
