Woman arrested after stolen items found

MAYFIELD, KY (KFVS) -

Graves County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman are recent theft sand burglaries in surrounding counties.

Christine R. Wood, 48, of Blandville Road in Paducah is charged with receiving stolen property firearm and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.

The Ballard County sheriff was looking at a convicted felon as a person of interest.  After going to the man's house at S. 6th Street in Mayfield, his girlfriend allowed deputies to search the home.  Several items from a Ballard County burglary were recovered. 

Wood was visiting with man's girlfriend at the time.  As Wood was leaving she agreed to let officers search her vehicle.  Police found a .50 cal rifle that was stolen from Livingston County.

Charges are pending against the convicted felon.

Woods was taken to the Graves County Jail.
