Suspicious fire breaks out in Creal Springs

CREAL SPRINGS, IL (KFVS) -

Investigators are trying to figure out how a suspicious fire started in Creal Springs.

Firefighters were called to the home around 7 p.m. Sunday.

It took crews from Williamson County and Lake of Egypt Fire Protection District about 25 minutes to get the fire under control.

The mayor says the home has been empty for several years.
