SEMO loses tough one to unbeaten Murray State

MURRAY, KY (KFVS) -

The Southeast Missouri State basketball team gave 9th ranked Murray State all it could handle but came up short Thursday night 81-73 at the CFSB Center in Murray.

The Racers Isaiah Canaan scored a game high 32-points before a sellout crowd of 8,369.

The Redhawks who led by six at halftime were led in scoring by Marcus Brister with 17-points.

SEMO is now 7-3 in the OVC and 12-10 overall. Murray State is now 22-0 and 10-0.
