Southeast Mo. fans enjoy national exposure

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - A big match up with Murray State and Southeast Missouri State Thursday night.

The Racers beat the Redhawks to remain undefeated, but some fans at Buffalo Wild Wings Thursday say the ultimate winners are the colleges and the national exposure.

"Being an old fan, SEMO games did not used to be on TV," said Redhawks fan Don Carl. "So now that they have the opportunity to watch them on TV I think it's the benefit of being in division one."

"It's great little schools don't get recognition so anytime you get on TV, its a boost the school, the program, it's really great," said Southeast Mo. State fan David Halter.

"It's great for the community, it's great for the schools, great exposure for everyone around," said Redhawks fan Richard Ware.
