PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

The McCracken County Sheriff's Department arrested a Paducah man Monday night on multiple gun and drug charges.

According to the sheriff's department, Jerelle Hill, 23, of Paducah was arrested at his apartment at 650 College Avenue around 7:30 p.m.

Investigators say they received a complaint of illegal drug activity in that apartment. After getting Hill to the door of the apartment, they noticed a strong odor of marijuana coming from his apartment while they were talking with him.

During a search of Hill, deputies say they found a small amount of cocaine on him. They then entered his apartment and searched further.

During this search deputies found two loaded semi automatic handguns (.40 caliber and .45 caliber), six plastic bags of crack cocaine weighing more than 107 grams, a bag of marijuana, several doses of Xanax, two digital scales and several hundred dollars in cash.

Deputies say the majority of the items were found on to of the cabinets in the kitchen.

Investigators then found out Hill was currently out on bond on an earlier felony charge also in McCracken County. During questioning deputies say they found out Hill had been selling cocaine for about seven months.

Deputies say the crack cocaine seized in this case has a approximate street value of $10,700 and suspect the guns found in Hill's apartment are stolen.  Hill is being held in the McCracken County Jail charged with: firearm enhanced trafficking in cocaine 2nd or subsequent offense (a class "B" felony punishable by 10 - 20 years in prison), possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and possession of a 3rd degree controlled substance (Xanax).
