CARLISLE COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -
A Ky. man is facing DUI and drug charges after running from police and over a stop sign.
It happened shortly after 11:30 a.m. Sunday on County Road 1234 in Carlisle County.
Phillip Bright, Jr., 26, of Arlington, Ky. was charged with DUI second aggravated, operating on a suspended OLN, speeding, failure to produce insurance, disregarding stop sign, no restriction plate, no registration receipt, no tail lamps, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, fleeing and evading first.
State police say they were stopping Bright for no visible tags on his vehicle when he sped up, failed to yield and ran over a stop sign before pulling over.
Bright was arrested and taken to the Ballard County Detention Center.
