Dr. Courtney Atkinson is a Missouri native who grew up in Saint Louis. She graduated Summa Cum-Laude from Saint Louis University receiving her Bachelors degree in biology.
It was during her undergraduate studies that Dr. Atkinson developed an interest in orthodontics. She went on to earn her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in 2006, also graduating Cum Laude. Dr. Atkinson then completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado after which she decided to return to Missouri to be near her family.
Dr. Atkinson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and Three Rivers Dental Society. In her time away from work, Dr. Atkinson enjoys participating in local community service projects, reading, running, and spending time outdoors with her Labrador Retriever.
