A tip call Sunday morning to the Williamson County Crime Stoppers alerted police to an active meth lab.
Marion police arrested Kenneth E. Marks, 45, of Marion on Sunday, Dec. 11.
The call came around 11 a.m. about the illegal drug being produced in a home in the 1200 block of Midway Court in Marion, Illinois.
Drug agents with the Illinois State Police were called in to process several meth-making materials, and the meth that was already made at the time of the bust.
Police charged Marks with manufacturing meth and meth-related child endangerment, meth waste, possession of meth making materials, meth precursor and possession of drug paraphernalia.
The investigation is ongoing.
Police were assisted by the Marion Fire Department.
