FULTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Transportation officials are warning of water over the roads in Fulton County.
The areas of concern are:
- KY 94 from the 7 to 11 mile marker is marked with High Water signs
- KY 94 from the 23-26 mile marker is marked with High Water signs
Officials say if rainfall continues as expected, drivers are likely to encounter hazardous driving conditions Sunday night and into the day Monday.
In addition to water covered roadways, drivers should be alert for loose gravel and other debris washed onto driving surfaces.
Drivers are asked to slow down, use extra caution, and allow extra travel time on the morning commute. With the ground already saturated, any additional rainfall will be headed for area streams creating opportunities for additional flooding.
If you encounter water over the roadway where signs are not posted, please report the specific location to your local 911 Call Center.
