PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A man has been arrested in connection to a weekend convenience store robbery.
Samuel D. Morgan, 39, of Paducah was arrested Tuesday evening on charges of first-degree robbery.
Morgan was arrested after officers say they served a search warrant at Morgan's home about 9:30 p.m.
Police say an employee of Convenience For Less on 21st Street told police Sunday morning the business was robbed.
The clerk told officers a man with a knife forced her to open the business safe and had her to put money into a bag.
The amount of cash taken was not released at the time.
Morgan was taken to the McCracken County Jail.
