KY authorities investigate overnight murder

TRIGG COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Authorities in Trigg County are investigating an overnight murder.

According to Kentucky State Police, a call came in just after 2 a.m. Sunday to the Trigg County Sheriff's Office reporting a shooting at the Trigg County Sports Complex on KY 139.

Deputies and State Police Investigators learned 26-year-old, Eric Jones of Cadiz was shot and killed during a party at the sports complex.

At this time no arrests have been made in the case.

Kentucky State Police are currently seeking a Princeton man for questioning.

Investigators say they would like to speak to Dwight D. Wisdom in reference to the incident. 

Wisdom is described as a 19-year-old a black male.  He is approximately 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs around 174 pounds. 

Troopers say Wisdom may be driving a blue 1979 GMC Suburban bearing Kentucky registration plate 423ETG. 

If anyone has contact with Wisdom they are asked to exercise caution as Wisdom may be armed.

    A fundraiser is in effect in Southern Illinois between Shawnee Tactical Solutions and the Stop the Bleeding Coalition to put specialized trauma kits in the hands of police departments.
