CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Christmas trees come in all shapes and sizes and varieties.
So how do you pick the best one? Is it the size, or is it the color of the tree?
We went to the experts to get some advice.
Tip number one is to measure your tree carefully.
You need to know how high your ceilings are, and take into account the tree stand will add a few inches. You'll also need to consider what you'll use as a tree topper.
And another thing to consider before you pick your tree, where in your room will you put it?
"When we are helping someone find the tree for their home or for their space, we generally ask them, where is the tree going?" said Paul Breedlove with Pollock Landscaping. Is it going in a corner? Do you like a tree that is more slender? Do you like one that is real round and bushy? Because we have all different sizes and shapes."
