One killed in crash in Lyon County

LYON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

One person was killed in a crash on KY 730 in Lyon County Tuesday morning.

Kentucky State Police say 37-year-old Chasity Hobbs of Princeton was killed in the crash in the 1000 block of KY 730 around 10 a.m.

The compact passenger car left the right side of the road for unknown reasons, rotated clockwise and struck a tree on the driver side.

Hobbs was wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.

 

KSP Trooper Dean Patterson says the road was wet but not snow covered at the time of the crash.

Kentucky State Police are still investigating.
