Today is Tuesday, November 29
For many of you when you look outside it will be a winter wonderland! For others, it's just going to be a cold mess. Snow and rain are the big stories this morning and Brian's been in the StormTeam Center all night watching the radars and figuring out what you can expect over the next 12 hours today.
This morning on The Breakfast Show we will also be reporting live from the Bootheel where many have seen more than an inch of fresh snow overnight.
If the scanners in the newsroom are any indication, the roads in many parts of the Heartland are very slippery this morning. Take your time if you have to get out going to work or take the kids to school.
Speaking of school - as I write this at 3:15 a.m. we have no school closings called in to the Heartland newsroom. By the time you are reading this there might be some on the list - so click here to get the latest school closing list.
We also want you to share your pictures and videos with the Heartland and with the world for that matter. Go to cnews.kfvs12.com ... Here you can look at pictures and videos sent to us. You can also upload your pictures and videos to cNews either on the cNews home page or just by emailing them to firstname.lastname@example.org
On our home page we also have links at the top of the page to get Current Winter Storm Watches, Warnings & Advisories, and the latest Weather Forecast, see Digital Doppler images, NexRad images and try out our Interactive Radar!
And if you like to see current conditions in Cape Girardeau - click here to see our live tower cam high atop the 13-story Hirsch Tower in downtown Cape.
Turn on The Breakfast Show starting at 4:30 this morning - we're working hard overnight to be your best source for new winter weather information.
