Family and friends are remembering a local hero as a second Memorial Service is underway for Spc. James Burnett, Jr. at the old high school gymnasium in Advance.
A falling tree cut a mobile home virtually in half, narrowly missing the home owner this morning in McCracken County.
There were quite a few wrecks overnight and Sunday and sadly, one involved the death of two people.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Department says two people died in single-vehicle crash late-Saturday evening on Boskeydell road.
A late-morning crash this morning  injured four people in Scott County.
McCracken County authorities are searching for a driver who left the scene after a crash early Sunday morning that seriously injured two people.
