ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Police say a Park Hills, Mo. man faces multiple child sex abuse charges.
According to Det. Todd Inserra of the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department, Gary Lee Francis, 31, of Park Hills faces charges of endangering the welfare of a child and five counts of second-degree statutory sodomy.
Francis was arrested on November 3.
Authorities say the girl involved was allegedly forced to touch Francis inappropriately repeated times.
A child allegedly also told authorities Francis made her try marijuana and bought her cigarettes.
The girl apparently told her mother about the alleged abuse weeks before Francis was arrested, but they told authorities they were afraid of the man.
Bond for Francis was set at $75,000 cash-only.
