Good Morning
Today is Thursday, November 17

As we get into the second half of November we're starting to feel more of a chill in the air in the morning. And that's exactly what you will feel today as you head out the door. But tune in to watch Brian's forecast before you leave to see that there's some good news as we get closer to the weekend.

All day Heartland News will be asking you to help us stuff a lot of trucks! Area food banks are in need and you can help starting at 6 a.m. In fact - watch The Breakfast Show starting at 5 this morning and Stephanie will tell you how you could get some FREE hot coffee and possibly even a FREE KFVS coffee mug!

This morning Lauren also continues her Toy Testers series - and today it's toys for preschoolers! Computers, tree and cats are just some of the themed toys area preschool children played with. Watch at 6:15 to see what might be your best buy for a preschooler.

At 5:45 this morning we have a story that may not be for everyone but is something you might want to know about. It's an injection that's being called the new Botox - but isn't Botox at all. We'll show you why Xeomin is gaining popularity among people looking for a younger look.

On The Breakfast Show this morning we also have two heartbreaking stories involving babies. There's new information coming into the newsroom about the St. Louis are mother who's now charged with murdering her 13-month old boy. We'll have this information throughout the newscast. And this morning at 5 Tyler has the details of a Tennessee mom who was, believe it or not, sent home from the hospital with her dead baby in a cooler!

But we're also helping you get ready for the Thanksgiving weekend if you're planning to drive anywhere. Watch around 6:40 this morning for some real simple things you can do to make sure your tires are ready for the road. And you can be thankful for this news - right now I-70 across Missouri is not a toll road. But that might not be the case for long. See new details on this story at 6 this morning.

If you're a music lover and like to get your tunes online then what we'll show you at 6:40 will be very good news.

Speaking of good news - this morning shortly after 6 we'll be playing some video you have to see. A little dog was in the back of a car that was in a wreck, ran from the car and ended up running down a busy interstate. We'll show you the happy ending to this four-legged, 2-wheeled and 2-footed (I know that's not a word) chase.

Thanks for being up early with us this morning - I hope you have a great Thursday!
