Good afternoon & Happy Veterans Day! Here are the latest stories we are working to bring you for tonight's Heartland News and on kfvs12.com....

Good news if you have outside plans tomorrow. Bob Reeves says to expect a fairly nice weekend, with increasing chances of showers by Sunday.

Carly O'Keefe reports an elderly husband and wife missing since Thursday were found in Benton, Ky. Friday. Police say they are okay. Carly talked with the family of the couple, and will have their reaction to the news tonight at 5.

There is some good and bad news today concerning jobs in the Heartland. US Foods is shutting its Paducah plant, with the services shifting to a recently expanded facility in Tennessee.

However, the former Goodyear tire plant in Union City, Tenn. has been sold to a maker of off-road equipment tires. The plant is expected to release the number of jobs that may be available early next week.

A southern Illinois Sheriff's Department is looking at having to lay off some staff. Carly O'Keefe will have more at 6.

A pick-up truck fire on Interstate 55 reduced traffic to one lane south of the Sikeston exit Friday morning.

An Oran, Mo. student turned 11-years-old today (11-11-11).

Todd Richards will preview tomorrow's high school football contests at 5 & 6, and will have Mizzou vs. Southeast Missouri State basketball highlights at 9 & 10.

Say it isn't so! There are also reports that Albert Pujols is meeting with Marlins today.
