CARTER COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - Six people were taken to the hospital with various injuries following an early morning two-car crash in Carter County.
It happened around 12:30 a.m. on US 60 at Highway B.
According to the highway patrol, a vehicle driven northbound by Matthew J. Maxwell, 21 of Grandin pulled into the path of a vehicle driven westbound by Melinda S. Simpson, 27, of Ellsinore.
Simpson and Maxwell received minor injuries. Four other passengers received various injuries.
Jeremy M. Simpson, 31, of Ellsinore received Moderate injuries. And a 10-year-old and a 7-year-old in Simpson's vehicle received minor injures.
Dewey Maxwell, 17, of Grandin received serious injuries.
All were taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital for treatment.
The patrol says all but one passenger in Simpson's vehicle were wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
