Fredericktown group working to build all inclusive playground

FREDERICKTOWN, MO (KFVS) -

A group in Fredericktown is working to build a state-of-the-art, all inclusive playground.

Donna Thompson, from the group Fitness For All Children, says the group is $8,343 away from the group's goal of $213,000 for the playground.

The playground will be accessible to children of all abilities.

FFAC is asking for businesses, agencies and individuals to help fund the remaining 4 percent of the cost.

    A fundraiser is in effect in Southern Illinois between Shawnee Tactical Solutions and the Stop the Bleeding Coalition to put specialized trauma kits in the hands of police departments.

    In an effort to save more lives in active shooter situation and beyond, Shawnee Tactical Solutions and the Stop the Bleeding Coalition are partnering up to put special trauma kits in the hands of police officers.
