ST. LOUIS (KFVS) - According to MLB.com, Game 6 of the World Series between the St. Louis Cardinals and Texas Rangers at Busch Stadium has been postponed until Thursday night due to forecasts calling for rain.
Game 6 will take place Thursday at 7:05 p.m. CT and if necessary, Game 7 will be Friday at the same time.
According to MLB.com, forecasts say there is a 10 percent chance of precipitation on Thursday, but temperatures could dip below 40 degrees.
MLB officials opted not to have to stop the game after it starts.
The Rangers lead St. Louis 3 games to 2.
Rain began falling lightly in St. Louis around noon, with forecasts calling for heavier rain starting around 4 p.m.
