Charges, injuries result from Stoddard Co. crash

STODDARD COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - One person is seriously hurt and another faces numerous charges after a car crash in Stoddard County.

The crash happened on County Road 684, about five miles west of Bernie early Monday morning.

Troopers say 19-year-old Kristina Harmon's Pontiac ran off the road and hit a tree.

She suffered only minor injuries and was taken to a Poplar Bluff hospital.

Her passenger, 32-year-old Angela Harmon, was seriously hurt and had to be airlifted to Barnes Jewish in St. Louis.

Kristina Harmon is facing felony assault, minor in possession of alcohol, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless and imprudent driving, and fail to register vehicle charges.
