POPLAR BLUFF, MO (KFVS) - Poplar Bluff Police arrested two men after a home invasion Thursday night.
Poplar Bluff Police Chief Danny Whiteley says it happened Thursday at 8:28 p.m. in the 900 block of Maud St.
Whiteley says Eddie Holmes and Davion Thompson, both of Poplar Bluff, knocked on the door of the home, and when the owner answered, they pointed a pistol at them and forced their way inside.
He says they took at TV, Xbox360, and some cash.
The victims, Mark Hicks, Jr., and Stacy Kemp, were able to identify the suspect's car as a white Chrysler Concord.
Poplar Bluff police officers found the car parked at a home in the 2000 block of Wood St. in Bluff.
They arrested the suspects inside and were able to recover some cash, but not the other stolen property.
Holmes confessed to a Poplar Bluff detective.
The two were taken to the Butler County Justice Center awaiting formal charges.
Poplar Bluff is asking they be charged with 1st degree robbery, armed criminal action, and unlawful use of a weapon.
Holmes also has two outstanding warrants in Boone County, Mo. for robbery and unlawful use of a weapon.
No one was hurt.
