Counterfeit cash found at Cape Girardeau bank, city hall

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

More phony cash is making its way through the Heartland.

Cape Girardeau Police Officer Darin Hickey says police learned Friday that someone passed homemade bills at Capaha Bank in Cape Girardeau, and at Cape Girardeau City Hall.

Police have not arrested anyone.

Officer Hickey cannot confirm that this is related to other instances, in which counterfeit money's been found in Cape Girardeau, Dexter and Poplar Bluff.
