I-24 back open after deadly crash in McCracken County

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Paducah police are investigating 2 separate crashes, 1 being deadly on Wednesday night on I-24 at US 45 (Lone Oak Road).

All lanes of Interstate 24 in Paducah are back open now after the 2 collisions shut down the highway for the second time this week.

Police say 1 person was killed and both crashes involve injuries.

The 2nd was a multiple vehicle crash. Police say it happened when traffic was slowing down approaching the 1st crash.

Kentucky State Police said they are still filling out the paperwork on that crash.

It's the 2nd deadly crash in that area this week.
