Pedestrian hit by car in Washington County, Mo.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO (KFVS) - A man was hit by a car after walking in the roadway early Sunday morning in Washington County, Missouri.

It happened around 12:28 p.m. on Route 21, .1 miles north of Pat Daly Road, said troopers the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

According to the troopers, a 16-year-old driver from St. Francois County was going southbound and hit David E. Potts, 28, of Cadet, Mo. as he was walking in the road.

Potts received serious injuries and was flown to a St. Louis hospital.

No word on his condition late Sunday morning.
