Police looking for suspects in Cape Girardeau shooting

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Cape Girardeau police are looking for two people involved in a Monday evening shooting.

Police say one man was shot in the leg as he walked across the Rhodes 101 Stop parking lot near Sprigg St. and Highway 74.  

Police say the victim then drove himself to the Cape Girardeau Police Dept. at 40 South Sprigg Street. Paramedics then drove the victim to the hospital.

Police say the injury is not life-threatening.

Investigators say a group of men got into an argument at the gas station and one of them pulled a gun and fired one shot at the victim. The people involved in the shooting then took off.

Early Tuesday morning, police say they are still looking for the people involved in the shooting. They have not released the victim's name.
