CARRIER MILLS, IL (KFVS) -

Two men face several charges after a home invasion in Carrier Mills in August.

Roy Antonio Johnson and Andrew Derrell Johnson are each charged with home invasion, armed robbery, two counts of aggravated kidnapping, and unlawful possession of weapons by a felon.

Saline Co. Chief Deputy Ken Clore says three or four masked men approached a man outside a home at 405 E. Washington Street on August 3 and forced him to let them into the house.

Once inside, one of the men allegedly pistol whipped one of five men in the house and fired shots in the direction of others.  No one was shot.

Three of the residents ran away when the gunshots rang out.  Three of the victims were trapped inside with the alleged attackers.

Clore says the suspects stole several firearms from the home and ran.

One of those guns, an SKS assault rifle, was recovered by Marion Police when they arrested Andrew Johnson on Sept. 24.

Roy Johnson was arrested on August 27 by Cape Girardeau Police.

So far only two arrests have been made, but Clore says the investigation continues as they are trying to learn the identities of the one or two other men involved in this attack.
