MARBLE HILL, MO (KFVS) -

People from 4 different states came to Marble Hill to participate in the Black Powder Rendezvous this weekend.

It is being held Saturday and Sunday at the "Cat Ranch" on Tom Reynolds' property on County Road 300 just outside of Marble Hill in Bollinger County, Mo.

According to organizer Jeff Lake, he expects 2,000-3,000 people to attend the affair.

There are around 40 camps from 4 different states, he said. And, 24 vendors are on hand.

Lake says the event includes demonstrations of any type of skills which were pre-1840. These skills include: rope, gun and knife making, blacksmiths and cannon shoots.

There will also be music, and art show, church services and contests.

The event was to be held this past Spring, but Lake says flooding canceled it.
