Survey recognizes UIC program

CHICAGO (AP) -

The University of Illinois at Chicago is getting kudos for having 1 of the nation's top entrepreneurship programs.

In a news release, the school says that out of 2,000 schools surveyed by the Princeton Review for Entrepreneur magazine, UIC's graduate school program was recognized 1 of the top 50 in the country. In fact, UIC finished in the top 25 graduate programs in the country - the sixth consecutive year it has done so. The results of the survey will appear in the October issue of Entrepreneur magazine.

UIC's entrepreneurship program, which is part of the College of Business Administration, was evaluated in a number of areas, such as how business fundamentals are taught and how well the school provided entrepreneurial opportunities outside the classroom.
