Police investigate alleged lawn ornament thefts

DUNKLIN COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Deputies are investigating several suspected lawn ornament thefts in Dunklin County.

According to Sheriff Bob Holder the ornaments went missing on the night of September 20 in the rural part of the county.

He says one ornament taken is a white concrete dog ornament with the dog's tail sticking out and has a red collar. Also missing are 2 concrete pigs and 2 concrete eagles.

Holder says one of the pigs is black with a white-stripe standing on all four legs on a green/black base. The other pig is painted gray and sitting down and looks like it is laughing.

Also missing is a concrete eagle painted light-brown, sitting in a perched position, looking right.

Anyone with information on the alleged thefts are asked to call the sheriff's office at (573) 888-2424.
