    According to the Cape Girardeau County Sheriff's Department, Clay Waller posted bond on Friday. Although we're told he is not on the streets, he is in the custody of US Marshals.     A new twist unfolded at a criminal case against Clay Waller and in the case of his missing wife.
CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A Judge Thursday ordered Clay Waller to be held without bond pending trial.

This decision was made in a detention hearing on Thursday, according to US Asst. Atty. Larry Ferrell.

Ferrell says Judge Lewis M. Blanton issued an order of detention citing that Waller would be a potential danger to the community if released on bond and a risk for not appearing in court.

The court found that credible testimony and evidence submitted at the detention hearing "establishes by clear and convincing evidence that Waller's release on bond would constitute a danger to the community, and that here is a serious risk that Waller will endanger the safety of another person or the community," said Ferrell.

The order was established due to the court finding credible testimony and evidence submitted at the detention hearing, Ferrell said.

Ferrell adds that the court also has ordered that Waller be committed to the custody of the attorney general for confinement in a correctional facility pending trial.

Waller was being held in the Pemiscot County Jail.
