The man who admitted his involvement in a 2009 Cape Girardeau murder plot that ended with three dead learned his sentence Tuesday.

Samuel "Ray Ray" Hughes admitted to being the lookout man as Ryan Patterson shot and killed Jamie Orman, her son Derrick, and her unborn son.

He was sentenced to 20 years in prison on a change of venue in Mississippi County.  The maximum penalty is 30 years.

A Pemiscot County jury recently found Patterson guilty on three counts of murder.

He'll be sentenced next week.
