Fashion show to benefit Cape Girardeau women's shelter

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

Friday night fashion enthusiasts gathered for a pre-event to the upcoming second annual Vintage Now fashion show.

Six designers gathered inside Pasttimes Antiques in Cape Girardeau to create their own fashion designs which are on display in the windows at Pasttimes.

The creations are being judge by a panel of judges, and 40-percent of the votes will come from facebook.

The winning designer will be recognized at the upcoming fashion show.

"Vintage Now" is a fashion show that will benefit The Safe House for Women.

It's a chance to see how vintage fashions can be mixed with modern pieces to create a stunning look.

The show will take place Tuesday October 18, 2011 at 6:30 p.m. at The Venue in Cape Girardeau.

KFVS 12 news anchor/reporter Crystal Britt will host the event.

The cost is $20 per person, and includes a complimentary drink.
