2 Perryville women charged with possessing marijuana

PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) -

Two women were charged Monday after police allegedly found marijuana in their home in Perryville.

Perry County Sheriff's deputies say they searched the home in the at 800 block of N. Main Street and found the drugs along with paraphernalia.

Pandora L. Cowgur, 38, was charged with class C felony possession of controlled substance, class A misdemeanor possession of up to 35 grams of marijuana, and class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

Amy R. Horman, 24, was charged with class B felony distribution of controlled substance, an class A misdemeanor unlawful use of drug paraphernalia.

"We seized around 3/4 lb. of marijuana, rolling papers and packaging along with weighing scales used for processing, packaging and selling marijuana" said Perry County Sheriff Gary J. Schaaf.

Both suspects were taken to the Perry County Jail.
