3 arrested for burglary of Hayti School

HAYTI, MO (KFVS) -

Three people have been arrested for the late-June burglary of Hayti School where computers and other items were taken.

Jerry Page, 19, of Hayti was arrested by Hayti Police.

Page was charged with burglary in the second degree.

Christopher Smith III, 25, was picked up by St. Louis Police and charged with burglary in the second degree.

Denzel Presberry, 20, was picked up in Springfield Illinois and charged with burglary in the second degree.

All were awaiting a trip back to Pemiscot Co.

A person of interest is still being sought by police.

The burglary happened in late June 2011.

Investigators say the men collected about 29 iPads, 3 Laptops and other miscellaneous items.

Police are asking for any information on the whereabouts are of the missing items.

Anyone that may of bought or know the whereabouts of the items can turn them in without any repercussion given they had nothing to do with the actual crime, according to Hayti's police chief.
