Man accused of taking bottle of pills from nursing home

BENTON, IL (KFVS) -

Benton Police arrested a man accused of stealing a bottle of prescription medication from an employee at the Stone Bridge Senior Living Center on Saturday.

Michael Endicott, 57, is charged with unlawful possession of a controlled substance and aggravated battery.

Benton Police say Endicott tried to run from the facility after taking the bottle of pills, but police quickly arrested him.

Endicott bonded out of jail Tuesday morning.
