Man accused of murdering girlfriend gets trial date

MARION, IL (KFVS) -

A man accused of murdering his girlfriend last year gets a trial date.

A judge set Patrick Williams' trial for December 13.

Williams is accused of beating and stabbing his girlfriend, Tina Pickens, to death back in Sept. 2010.

She was found dead in her home after she did not show up for work.

He faces two counts of first degree murder in her death.
