19-year-old killed in single vehicle crash

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

A 19-year-old was killed in a crash involving a vehicle with a trailer Monday morning.

James T. Carman III of Smithland was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marshall County coroner.

It happened at 9 a.m. on Tatumsville Highway on Monday.  The vehicle pulling a trailer saw some deer on the road.  The trailer dropped off the right shoulder and the driver was unable to get the trailer back on the road when the tire popped.

The vehicle then came back on the road, crossed to the left shoulder, hit a ditch and overturned.
