Southeastern Ill. College in Harrisburg offering GED classes

HARRISBURG, IL (KFVS) -

Southeastern Illinois College in Harrisburg is offering free GED classes in a variety of locations this fall.

College officials say all classes, materials, practice tests and tutoring are free and online instruction is also available.

 Registration is on the first day of class or by calling toll-free at (866) 338-2742 or (618) 252-5400 and ask for with Terry.

Gallatin

Sept. 12 through Dec. 7 at the WADI Building in Shawneetown. Classes meet from 1 p.m. to 4:45 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Hardin

Sept. 12 through Dec. 7 at Hardin County High School. Classes meet from 5 p.m. to 8:45 p.m., Mondays and Wednesdays. 

Pope

Sept. 6 through Dec. 6 at Pope County High School. Classes meet from 5:00p.m. to 8:45 p.m., Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

Saline

Morning classes will be offered in two sessions. Session one classes run Sept.6 - Oct. 18 and session two will be held Oct. 19 - Dec. 1. These classes will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., Monday through Thursday in room A221 at the Harrisburg campus, 3575 College Rd. 

Night classes will also be held at the Harrisburg campus Sept. 7 - Dec. 5, from 5 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. in room A221.

Afternoon classes will be held off campus at Harrisburg WADI, 14 Veteran's Drive. This class will meet from 1:00 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays from Sept. 20 through Nov. 22. 

White County

Session one classes will be held Sept. 6 - Oct. 18 and session two will be held Oct. 19-Dec. 1. These classes will meet Monday through Thursday, from 9 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at the SIC White County Center, 1700 College Ave. in Carmi.
