Maker of bath salts says he has nothing to hide

RIPLEY COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

The Ripley County business owner suing to stop Missouri's new synthetic drug law from taking effect says he's got nothing to hide.

"I manufacture my product for legitimate purposes," said Roger Seratt. "And, if somebody takes it and abuses it, that's something I can't control."

Seratt has a manufacturing site in Fairdealing where he makes the incense and bath salts he sells to local stores.

The K-3 law set to kick in August 28 considers Seratt's products synthetic marijuana and cocaine, and is subject to the same criminal charges as the real thing.
