PERRYVILLE, MO (KFVS) - Police have charged a Fredericktown man with murder in connection with a woman's death at a Perryville hotel.
Steven A. Harbour has been charged with 2nd degree murder, according to Perryville Police Chief Keith Tarrillion.
Nicole Jones, 20, was pronounced dead June 25, 2011 at the Super 8 Hotel in Perryville.
Initially, Harbour was charged with distribution of a controlled substance for supplying Jones with oxycodone, clonazepam and amitriptyli.
The toxicology report from the autopsy revealed the cause of death was to do with alcohol and drug intoxication, said Tarrillion.
He says as the investigation continued, key pieces of evidence was collected which revealed the pills Harbour supplied to the victim was the leading cause in her death.
