Rollover crash kills 18-year-old, injures 4 others

WASHINGTON COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

One person is dead and 4 others injured after a rollover crash early Sunday morning.

It happened around 3:55 a.m. on Route CC, 1.7 miles east of Cannon Mines Rd. in Washington County, Mo.

One person was killed as a result of the crash.

Dustin C. Goforth, 18, of Farmington died at Washington County Hospital, police said.

Four others were injured in the crash, according to the patrol.

Joshua D. Conway, 17, of Bonne Terre; Linzie N. Stokes, 17, of Park Hills; and Christopher S. Weiss, 20, of Bonne Terre received serious injuries and were taken to local hospitals by ambulance.

Nathaniel B. Roberts, 21, received moderate injuries and was transferred to a St. Louis Hospital.

According to the highway patrol, the Ford F150 was going east and reportedly speeding on Route CC. The driver lost control of the truck and it overturned throwing 3 people before stopping on the south side of the road.

Troopers say Stokes was the only person wearing a seatbelt.
