More sinkholes have appeared in Cape Girardeau, one of which is located in a residential area on Ellis Street. Neighbors say they noticed the hole on Monday when the area was hit with heavy rains.

LESTERVILLE, MO (KFVS) -
Four people were injured Saturday morning in a crash involving a bus used by a canoe rental business in Reynolds County.
It happened around 10:45 a.m. on MO 21 in Lesterville.
According to Troop G of the Mo. State Highway Patrol, a pickup driven by William J. McKenna, 45, of Lesterville was making a left turn onto a county road then a bus driven by Seth L. Barton, 52, of Lesterville pulled out to pass and struck the pickup in the left side.
Four people were injured in the pickup truck. 34-year-old Derek E. Bridges of Festus, 49-year-old April King of DeSoto, 24-year-old Charles J. Schlanker of Hillsboro and 38-year-old Bobbie F. Smith of Festus received moderate injuries and were taken to Iron County Hospital.
All of those injured were not wearing a seat belt, according to the patrol.
